Estimating Repair Costs?

Hello All, j

I'm a beginner and have tons of questions. This is directed towards anyone and everyone that has experience in flipping houses.

Here is the question.

Is there a check list of things that you use when looking at a fix and flip property to estimate repair costs. Have you ever made one? Could you potentially get one from your local inspector?

Thank you for everyone's help.

Definitely check out "The book on estimating rehab costs" by J Scott. You can buy it from bigger pockets. There is a link somewhere at the top of the website. Fantastic book that has answers and price ranges to all your questions and suggestions on how to go about nailing down the cost range for your specific region.
