Non insured roofer

i just got some quotes for a new roof and one of the roofers said he wasn't insured but said he had a no injury clause that he would sign. Anyone know if this will protect me if he or one of his guys gets hurt doing my roof? Any feedback would be helpful.

thanks for the reply @Ryan Gillette and @Joe Bertolino .  I guess if a deal is too good to be true there is usually a catch.
