Hello everyone,

I'm a GC looking to make more connections with investors, can I get some feedback from those who are rehabbing and flipping properties ,where do you generally meet your contractors? Are local REI meetings a good place to network or like events? I look forward to your responses and thanks in advance.

#1 is word of mouth/referrals from other investors. #2 would be marketing events, but even then I would require references from someone I know who has used them.

If you show up when your supposed to, do what you say your going to do, get it done at an agreed upon "investor" price point and solve problems as they arrive you will have more business than you will know what to do with. My  experience with contractors (especially new ones) is that they are not able to do the first one on the list because they do not have their own crew and they do not have enough business established with their subs to get them to do what they are supposed to when they are supposed to.

What city are you in?
