Hey Keith thanks for answering my book of questions. :)

I guess I should have said insured instead of licensed. I do most of my work on the east and north east part of Dallas. I will keep you in mind for my next project.

Yes, I carry a million dollar GL policy and as an adjuster I'm well versed on the importance of insurance to protect both parties. Thank you for keeping me in mind. I appreciated your questioning, it gave me an opportunity to openly answer for yourself and those who might have the same questions.

Thanks Billy for your response, I appreciate it. I am located in Fort Worth, but do have crews in Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Hope that answers your question.

thank you,

Are you licensed? If so how long? Do you have a good connection with subs and what do you sub out? How many crews do you have now? What areas do you prefer to work in?

Sorry for so many questions, just want to know a bit more about you.

Thanks,

Chance

Thanks Chance for your response

Unfortunately there is no GC licensing in Texas since 2010

I sub out anything that requires a professional license to complete, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrician, etc. I've got connections for granite, cabinets, pools, etc. I've currently got 2 crews but, can get more when needed.

I'll go anywhere in the DFW area, I live in Fort Worth. With that being said, I have access to crews in Austin, San Antonio and Houston as well.

Hope this helps

thanks,

Keith

My wife and I have thought seriously about taking on a rehab/flip and if we do we will need an honest person who does exceptional work. Do you have a website or anything we can see?

Thank you Justin for your response, I have not set up a website yet can't decide if I want to go Wordpress or HTML. I do have some photos that I can share through a dropbox link.

thanks,

Hello everyone,

I'm a GC looking to make more connections with investors, can I get some feedback from those who are rehabbing and flipping properties ,where do you generally meet your contractors? Are local REI meetings a good place to network or like events? I look forward to your responses and thanks in advance.

Hello all,

Great to be on the site I've read some very interesting articles and posts. I am starting a contracting company in the DFW market, I've spent the last 10 years in the residential construction industry, as a builder, and property insurance adjuster working all over the country doing build back estimating from hail storms to hurricanes (Ike, Irene,Sandy) I look forward to learning from everyone and look forward to connecting with some great people in the industry.
