Tenants name on mailbox

Hello BPers,

I guess this constitutes as a 'do it yourself'.

I replaced the mailbox today at one of my properties. While the numbers affixed to the box are permanent I wanted to find if anyone has found a material that adheres to plastic that can be removed after the tenants move out.

These tenants put their last name on the outside of the metal box that I replaced that was broken. I bought a plastic box and put numbers on it. I'm sure they will want to put their name on this box with the sticky letters.

I've been to Home Depot and Lowes and other stores like Tractor Supply but I don't see anything other than sticky-tact letters.

Has anyone run across anything to affix to plastic that will be easy to remove?

Thanks

-Daria

@Daria B., I would treat this just like any other part of the property.  If tenants want to paint the walls hot pink, they are informed that upon move out they will have to pay to have the walls restored to the original color.  If tenants want to damage the mailbox by permanently altering its appearance, they should be informed that upon move out they will be charged to have a new mailbox installed.

Short and to the point.
