SoCal Rehab can get $6,000 Energy Incentive

I have just finished a seminar for an affordable housing bid, I found this information to medium-fully extent rehab jobs.  Anyone rehabbing in the Los Angeles to San Diego Areas? You might be rehabbing without incentives.  There is a $3,000 x 2 applications incentive from utility companies, you could be leaving out that. Ask the energy network. The rules are simple, you might spend 20% more on materials to get the incentive, say a few dollars more for a gas tankless water heater - a $900 rebate, or a few dollars more to get to a certain standard, $450 rebate.  Retrofit windows come around 2000-2200 for the whole house, you could get a $700 rebate. Drawbacks are you have to have your utility bills changed to a name of you or your company, and a testing that will cost $400-$600 up front.  If you plan on a big rehab, $4,000-5,000 net rebate (materials upgrades and testing fees) after legwork, might be worth it.
