Light bulbs

Does anybody have a brand of light bulbs that still work?

I am sick and tired of bulbs that only last for a few months.

I am buying name brands, not generics or cheapies, and the last batch lasted about 3 months before burning out. I just replaced 2 bulbs in my office this morning-- Phillips Duramax long life bulbs, and one of them lasted 30 minutes and is burned out already.

I had CFs put into my porch lights. I don't really like them, but I have to pay someone to replace those bulbs, so I wanted something that would be good for a long time. Less than one year later, 2 of them are already burned out.

There are some bulbs that came with the house, so I know they are at least 6 years old and probably older. The old ones are still working, but any new bulb I place in the fixtures won't last 6 months.
