Looking for a structural engineer - SE Dallas/Seagoville
I'm currently rehabbing an older 2/1 SFH in the SE Dallas area. The contractor that is doing the work cut 2 - 3 inches into the structural beam, to accomadate a door!!?? The Inspector said I would need to have a structural engineer do a report on it, to make sure it is still sound or do the needed remediation. Does anyone have an affordable structural engineer they could refer me to? I'm also looking for a more competent contractor & crew... if anyone has referrals - South East side of Dallas/Seagoville. Thanks!
