Calculating ROI on rennovations

Posted

Howdy everyone!

I have recently purchased my first home with my wife. It is a fixer upper that we are living in while we remodel. We are about 90% finished on a total bathroom remodel which would bring that space up to date with modern flooring and finishes. I also was able to fix some leaks in the old plumbing and make other improvements to the safety/livability of the space. I did most of the work myself (except for tiling and waterproofing of the shower) and would like to figure out a conservative estimate on ROI for all of our expenses. Would love to hear how other people come up with these estimates!
