Electrical work quote opinion

Good morning everyone,

I just wanted to get a quick opinion on the quote I received for some electrical work to be completed in my duplex:

Furnish and Install (2) new bath fan/light combos. Downstairs - add new switch and connect to existing venting. Upstairs - add new switch and install new venting and roof vent kit. Materials included in quote.
Remove old lights and install (7) customer supplied new ones.
Remove (1) old fan and install customer supplied new one.
Install (1) new switch and outlet for dishwasher.
Run new wire up and install (1) new box for range hood.

Drywall patching and painting to be done by other contractors. (My demo will be completed before I bring my electrical guys in).

Total for all the above is quoted at $3,750. Again, it includes the materials for the first line item completely. He told me it would be two guys working over the course of two days. How does this quote sound to the rest of you?

I appreciate your thoughts and opinions! Thanks.

@Tyler Haanen, in my area I would expect this work to be $2000-2250. Before the pandemic, I would be able to get this work done for $1500 max I think.

I would try to get other quotes. I might also offer to pay time and materials instead of a firm fixed price quote, but only if I would be around to see the work getting done. Paying time and materials, you are literally paying them by the hour for the work. So, you bear the risk of it taking longer as opposed to a fixed price quote where the contractor (electrician) takes that risk.

One more thought. Consider having a handyman do the simple work like replacing light fixtures. Their labor rate should be much lower, PLUS you can have them do some other small jobs around the property if you have any.
