Rehab 1 bedroom into 2

I am seeing a lot of 1 bed 1 bath houses for sale almost at 50 to 60% ARV. Is it possible to market to rehabbers to turn these into two bedrooms for a nice spread? The property is in a nice neighborhood and it is still up and coming. The average house before the bust was averaging $150 to $350, now most are $50 to $200,000.

Is there room for a second bedroom? Is the one bedroom huge where it could be turned into two bedrooms?

I've never bought a one bedroom house, but have turned lots of two bedroom houses into three bedrooms. Either by moving a wall, turning the dining room into a bedroom, finishing an attic, or just adding a closet. If you can find a way to make it happen, a two bedroom will be way more desirable than a one.
