  • Average Home Price November 2021: $215,000
    • Average Home Price November 2020: $188,900
    • 13.8% appreciation in home values since 2020
  • U.S. 10 Year Treasury: 1.407% (increase of 0.47% from 0.93 December 2020)
  • As the U.S. 10 Year Treasury yield percentage goes up, so do mortgage interest rates. 30-year-Mortgage interest rates sit at an average 2.994% for December, 2021. 30-year-Mortgage rates in December, 2020 averaged 2.865% (+0.13% since 2020).
    • An increase in mortgage interest rates is indicated by an increased U.S. 10 Year Treasury yield (+0.47% since 2020)
      • A $250,000 home in 2020 (2.865%) with 20% down payment on 30 year conventional loan = $828.71 monthly mortgage payment ($27.62 per day)
