I’m looking for someone in a Chicagoland that has experience with rent to own. Preferably someone that has done many. I have experience with one it was more a Land Contract.

I have some questions to ask someone that has gone through a bunch of them.

@Peter Halliday - There is actually a guy out in your area that does quite a few of them.  He provided me his lease to own contract.  Shoot me a PM and I can provide you his contact information because I don't think he is BP.

Also, @Joe Mueller has done quite a few and is in your area.

Overall it's a great strategy.  You just need to go all-in on it so you have the right systems and processes in place. Most of the time none of the tenants end up purchasing the homes (which is sad).  I love the idea of working with the tenants to improve their credit score and financials and then helping them purchase.
