Residential Lease Review

New landlord here... I want to have a lease reviewed by an attorney for a house in West Atlanta (Fulton). Any recommendations?

Also, how many of you had your lease reviewed by an attorney? Think it's overkill and legal zoom is enough?

A generic lease from Legal Zoom is probably sufficient to comply with the law but it's probably not the best lease you could have. I recommend people buy their lease from a local attorney that has experience in real estate investing. Find an investor group or talk to other investors and see if they have an attorney they could recommend.

The other option is to get a generic lease from LegalZoom or some other source. Then scour the internet for leases around the country and look for important clauses that yours is missing. Piece together an edited version and take it to an attorney for review/approval.
