Greetings all. If someone knows well Griffin market and could give us some data about this market that will be great. Demographic , work places (where most of them work), developments etc. We currently checking the option to buy package of around 15 properties there and I would like to know what the members here knows about this market. Thanks , Yoni.

Hi Yoni,  I own one rental on the West side (West of 41) in Griffin.  A friend owns one or 2 in the tougher parts of Griffin (9th and Broadway ish).

I like Griffin as a town.  But I'm disappointed that there's been almost ZERO appreciation and very little absorption of distressed properties (which gives the reason for low appreciation).

I'd guess a package of rentals is going to be in the class D areas, rents $400-$600).   Same tough collecting rent, turn over etc.   I don't do sec 8 so I can't help you there.

I don't live near Griffin so can't be your eyes.  You might use this to look at each house:

Good luck
