New, Moldable Invester to Real Estate

Hi All,

I am about as new to real estate as they come. Fresh out of college and working my first 9-5. I have really no experience in real estate, but I have envisioned myself getting into smaller buy and holds (single families or small dwellings) opposed to flips or large # of unit buy and holds. I recently moved to CT and have would love to learn more about the market in my neighboring towns (Berlin, New Britain, Middletown area)/hearing opinions on analyzing markets. Although I am not looking to immediately buy, I would like to begin my research and develop a plan to best prepare myself for that day.  I hope the more I read and learn, the more I will be able to contribute to the discussion and interactions that take place on BP, as well as in the local community. Thanks in advance for all the help and guidance.
