I have 3 rental properties. My goal is to close on my first 8-20 units apartment building this year. I will be turning 32 in 2 months.

I have met people who have hundreds of units in their early 20s. At the same time I know some people from high school who are still doing the same thing they used to do in HS (nothing).

I am tempted to compare myself to people who are doing it bigger than me.

I always remind myself that this is a waste of time. Stop watching other people. In driving school they teach you to keep your eyes on the road. Same thing applies to business. Focus on your business and journey because everybody else is on their own journey. They are too busy to pay attention to you.

As long as you cross the line who cares how long it takes?
