LEARNING HOW TO USE CRM FOR COLD CALLING

My mentor recommended that I put all of my seller leads in a CRM to manage my contacts and follow ups more efficiently.

At first I procrastinated. We often hesitate starting things we dont understand. I insisted I keep my seller contacts and notes on an Excel worksheet.

I learned things the hard way when I accidentally deleted the Excel worksheet. Therefore, I had to take a couple days to retrieve the deleted phone numbers.

In the end of the day I still had to learn how to import contacts into a CRM.

The moral here is I could have saved time if I didn't try to take shortcuts. I had to learn how to use a CRM anyway.
