Is It still a deal for Canadians to buy U.S. Properties

I am Canadian born but have invested in U.S. properties for over 30 years now. Wondering how Canadians feel about buying U.S. real estate with the Loony so weak?  Is it better to invest in Canadian real estate only with the dollar so low and if Canada is the best place to invest for Canadians, where in Canada would you suggest? Seems like there are alot of different opinions on this subject. Sure like to hear back from some fellow Canadians on this subject.
