Hello
I would like to thoroughly understand depreciation from a CPA's view point. Are there any great books and resources for this? Appreciate your inputs.
Thanks

@Kumar Gaurav BP has lot's of books that cover depreciation. For taxes, I personally prefer NOLO's book Every Landlord's Tax Deduction Guide. It is comprehensive and organized like a textbook, which I think is most useful for this type of subject.
Depreciation itself isn't too complex (search MACRS Recovery Periods for Property Used in Rental Activities on this page and you'll find a simple breakdown straight from the horse's mouth). The complexity really comes in accelerating depreciation and using things like De Minimis. But you probably already knew that ;)
