How I could sell a property in less 3 months?

After I attended the seminar in a Real Estate Agency the only thing sink in my mind is " You will get your first client in three months." as the speaker said.

Is it possible to get clients within or less 3 months? Have you also experienced on doubting if you could get a client? What are the problems you encountered on advertising/ selling a property? 

Please tell me your thoughts.

In almost all commission sales jobs where the sales person is responsible for generating their own leads there is a lag time between starting out and receiving the first commission check.

Some new agents start out leasing properties as the lag time is reduced.

There are a number of good books on real estate brokerage you can read to determine if this is a career fit for you.
