Converting a Duplex Into Individual Parcels To Be Sold Separately

Hey BP,

Currently working on a couple projects here in Columbus, Ohio where we would like to convert a duplex into individual parcels that can be sold separately.  

I've consulted with some local attorneys and it seems there are a couple options for getting this done (each with their own set of pros and cons), but wanted to reach out and see if there are any local investors or other real estate professionals who have successfully executed something like this.

     Dustin, we have a guy that's doing 9 condo units in German Village right now. I spoke with an attorney who also does these kinds of projects and for 2-4 units the pricing is the problem to get the documents setup. Once they are done it s a great idea. By the way, if you are looking for more of these projects we have a few that would be good candidates near downtown columbus (Grandview). I own a double that I was considering condoing because multi sells at like $185 a foot and single families and condos are at like $230+ a foot. If you need an attorney that has actually done this let me know.
