Hello BP Community,

Lately, I have been seeing several emails related to Tax Sale Overages and becoming a Certified Asset Recovery Specialist.  I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience doing these types of deals.  Just wondering.  Looking forward to hearing back.

Thanks,

Erroll

I bet the certification is basically a scam. I have never heard of such a thing. My guess is that is part of the pitch to get you to sign up for training. The only group certifying you would be the company that does the training and  I doubt it is a recognized credential

I don't do it because of the way it is perceived. Md is a liberal state and if you collect a fee to help someone get money they would otherwise never see - you are the bad guy.
