HAFA relocation assistance
I recently sold my house in a short sale through the HAFA program. I got behind because of a work injury and could not catch up. The attorney who represented me assured me I could get up to $3500 assistance with relocation, but when the sale closed he told me I would get nothing. I feel I was lied to because he had a broker associate who wanted to buy the house as an investment. Is there any recourse possible in this situation?
