Neighborhoods to look for SFH in Tucson - Frist Time homebuyer
Hello everybody,
So I have been on the search for a SFH house as of recently, attempting to find a 3BR 2 bathroom somewhere on the north side (Below magee, above river, west of oracle, east of freeway), and in the silverbell area (west of highway).
So far my experience has been challenging, as these are desired areas. I have been reaching into the flowing wells, and south of that, area to see if there is a good property as well.
This property would be my permanent residence for a little while. My problem is I seem to find houses that are above my price range (325k), or I get outbid on these properties.
I wanted to come here to ask if there is anybody who knows of other neighborhoods that are good in Tucson, that may be within my price range? I do not want to go far away from the freeway though, so east side is out of the option. I would like to stick near the freeway if possible, as I see most return on investment from those areas as well.
Also, if there is any other advice you can give me for Tucson real estate investing for a first time investor in particular, please let me know.
Thank you all for your time!

@Augusto Celis You may want to look on the south east side of Tucson, down in the Littletown area. There are some 3/2 properties in your price range there and it's close(ish) to the freeway. That area is currently expanding and has a few larger companies investing in it (Amazon), so I'd bet on it continuing to be a good growth and appreciation area for Tucson.
As for Trulia, it's an ok site to search, though it does have one outstanding feature: the crime map. If you click on the map for a property, you'll be given an option to change what the heat map shows, one option being the crime in the area. I've found that feature very helpful. I'm not sure if Zillow has integrated that into their site yet.
