New Investor to Phoenix Arizona

Good Morning,

My name is Evan and my wife and I are planning to move to Phoenix in June, 2022. I am an active duty service member moving on orders and we are interested in purchasing a multi-family residence. We intend to utilize our VA loan and are interested in anything from a duplex-quadplex to house hack. We are additionally interested in partnering with a real estate broker who can help us pursue rental properties and flips while we prepare for the move.

We have hard money/private money lenders in place and are ready to get started.

Looking to connect with like minded investors/brokers who can help us identify the deals for us to pursue.

I can't express how excited I am to move to this city, I hear great things.

Very Respectfully,

Evan

Hi @Evan Skarbek

House hacks have become difficult as we've seen a flood of out of state investors buy up a lot of the good stock of that kind of housing. The ones left are older and in rougher neighborhoods so make sure you do your research on each area of the city you're interested in investing in.

There are still a few decent properties that pop up here and there, but you have to be prepared to move quickly and can expect a multiple-offer scenario on just about any decently-priced property that isn't falling apart.

If there's anything else you want to know, feel free to holler.
