Institutional Investors Selling Large Lots of Houses

In looking at Birmingham properties on Zillow I noticed the following:

4621 Court S, Birmingham, AL 35208

3 beds1 bath-- sqft

For Sale

$26,000

Zestimate®: $25,769

This home is part of a larger package of 29 properties (attached in photos).  Another listing showed a package of 28 properties. Anyone know the story behind these large sales?
