License Requirements for the State of Washington

Hey Everyone!

I am still at the beginning stages of investing and learning. I am wondering if it is essential for the state of Washington to get a RE Broker License.

If so, what "school" would you suggest that I use to pass the exam on the first try?

How much does the whole process generally take? I have heard 500 for the Ed requirements plus the license test around 150. Any actual numbers for people who have recently performed this process?

Thanks and have a sunny Pacific Northwest Day!
