best area in for Virginia REO, Distressed homes.
Hey BP,
I'm currently investing in the Baltimore market and as we all know there is no shortage of REO and distressed properties but i want to shift my focus to VA because of the distance to our new home.
Can you give me some insight in to the REO\Distressed property market in VA I'm interested in areas from Mclean to Richmond and everything in between. Does Virginia have a "Vacants To Value" type program like Baltimore were the government sells Distressed homes? A tax lean sales list?
Delinquent tax payers listing? I hope I'm covering everything and if you can think of something i haven't mentioned please feel free to mention it.
I'm also looking to start building a network of investors, realtors, general contractor, & tittle companies in VA so we can broaden our scope as well maybe even do some joint ventures with in the near future.
Please feel free to connect.
I really look forward to hearing from you.
Thank You.

@Jean-Frank Dorvil I don't know the specific answers to your questions as I am not in the NOVA market. I can give you a little insight to the market.
I suspect the REO market is very tight with little inventory and lots of competition for that inventory. This is true in Baltimore and I suspect NOVA is a hotter market.
VA is a tax deed state so there will be no lists of tax liens. The various lists you mention would be by county not the state. Check the county websites.
I doubt you will find something like "Vacants to Value" in NOVA as the market is strong enough not to need such tools to get properties renovated.
