Windstorms and hails in TEXAS
We have a rental in Keller, TX and Lubbock, TX.
I received reports of hail storms and windstorms from both property management companies, a month apart.
Our insurance policy for these properties keeps going up! We filed one claim (due to a damage to the roof due to a hail storm) a couple of years ago, and now these storms again!!
Any other investors noticing increase in occurrences of BAD WEATHER EVENTS in TX?
Thanks!

@Edita D. I lived in Texas for 5 years. My girlfriend and her entire family are from Texas. I actually used to live 15-20 minutes from Keller.
Hailstorms in Texas are extremely common. You will likely need a new roof every 3-5 years as the hail will ruin it. If you keep using insurance for this, your premiums will continue to rise a lot.
Your property taxes will also continue to go up, likely each year. Not to mention the foundation issues that most of Texas experiences.
I always tell Californians to not buy in Texas because you pay high property taxes while paying the high income taxes of CA. I recommend you think hard before buying more there, just my personal opinion
