Rental market in Lubbock

I was wondering if anyone could give me insight to the current rental market in Lubbock.  I am in Midland and don't really see myself investing here, I was taking a look at Lubbock but noticed that lately people mention it is a bit flooded with rentals.  Any input on that market is appreciated!

Hi Amber.  There have been several massive higher end apartment complexes go up about 2 years ago that have really hindered SFRs. Of course houses are still being rented, but rents have dropped across the board here from where they were.  There are still deals to be had out here, and investors are still investing here, but it's become more difficult than it was a few years ago.   I hope that helps!
