I'm curious as to what you veterans do when you first see a house for sale that you are interested in. I'll link an example - this house is selling as is for $47k and doesn't seem too awful in terms of renovation. Location isn't probably ideal (although I'm still new to SA and I've heard that east SA is not great). But I'd love to hear your thoughts. I've been doing a lot of reading lately (not as active on here)... but I'm still only 2-3 weeks into being interested in REI. Thanks!

Know your goals before before shopping. Decide on a neighborhood first, then look for property to flip or buy and hold. Again, know your goal. Best of luck in your investments.
