Hello Fellow BP Members,

I'm currently educating myself on multi family real estate investing. I would like to develop a portfolio of 100+ units in the next 10 yrs. I'm currently saving up to purchase a duplex in 2017. I would also like to discuss the pros and cons of owning a rental property free and clear. Thanks in advance to all the members who respond with valuable investing advice.

We own 5 rentals and own them all free and clear. Not being in debt is worth more to me than having additional leveraged properties. I'm very debt averse, many aren't so just do what works for you.
