Dear Tennesseeans,

My partner and I are under contract to purchase a property in Tennessee and are looking for recommendations for an attorney that can help with forming an LLC in Tennessee and writing up an operating agreement. I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Nitin

@Nitin Dhiman - honestly, we set up ourselves (by we I mean my husband did!). The LLC formation is easy through the dept of state's website (costs around $300) Getting an EIN number is easy through the IRS website (cost around $25). Then my husband found an operating agreement online that he liked and tweaked it to fit what we needed and then got it signed and notarized.

But if you'd rather go through an attorney, maybe @Douglas Skipworth or @James Wachob would have some local suggestions for you?

Congrats on the buy!
