Hey Tennessee Investors.

I just received an email about a new down payment assistance program by THDA.  Not sure how or if that will affect your market, but wanted to pass along the info.

Here is the link:  https://thda.org/homebuyers/down-payment-assistance

We had a great presentation by @Victor Jernigan on this topic at our Knoxville REIA meeting Tuesday. Essentially THDA is going to provide $60 million in down payment assistance to 4,000 home buyers in selected zip codes across the state. This means there will be, on average, 72 new home buyers per zip code so obviously there will be more opportunities to have your properties sold!
