Hi All!

For me, 2020 has been the year that has forced me to get things moving. I have opened my own business and have decided to start investing into rental properties as a second business. The goal is to eventually gain financial freedom and spend more time with the ones I love.

I was introduced to Bigger Pockets by a friend who is looking to do the same with investing in rental properties. I have been doing my research, by reading some great books right from the bigger pockets library. Now, I feel it’s time for the next step and look for my first rental property this year, “2021”.

My plan looks something like this: purchasing single or multi family homes at auction, on the courthouse stairs "Foreclosures". Then working the "BRRRR" method on the homes. Finally, moving to the next property with the same steps.

Being new to this wonderful world of real estate, I am looking forward to networking with others in the business, in the upstate area of South Carolina like: land lords, property managers, real estate agents, investment loan personnel, and others in the business of investing in rental properties.

I am looking forward to hearing from you all and learning where this new adventure will lead.

-Best Regards,

Douglas
