Hello,

Anyone have any good referrals for landlord insurance policy? I’m under contract to buy my first rental property which is a 3 unit in Woonsocket.

@Peter Beckwith I've used Loiselle Insurance and Cross Insurance (formerly Troy, Pires & Allen) and had good experiences with both for owner/landlord insurance.

My contact at Loiselle is Nate Green. I don't have one specific contact at Cross because I have more than one entity that has policies with them, and they seem to assign the account rep based on the name of the owner/entity.

It's important to get quotes from multiple agencies as they have access to different carriers and may quote you higher or lower depending on what other risk their currently carrying in that area/zip code.
