Philadelphia rentals management
I was just reading somewhere to be a licensed landlord in Philly if you don't live in the district you have to have a property manager in Philly. Philadelphia rules are really different. Anyone else hear this?

If you own rental property within the City of Philadelphia, and you do not either live inside the City of Philadelphia or have a regularly attended business located within the City of Philadelphia, the City of Philadelphia requires that you have somebody be registered as the agent for the property where such agent does live inside the City or has a a regularly attended business located within the City. That person acting as your agent does not have to be a property manager is my understanding; but given your location, you probably would be needing a local PM anyway.
Believe it or not, there are other municipalities in PA that also require something similar if you do not live within a certain distance from the municiplality having such rules.
