How much upfront rent can you collect in Ohio?

Google is great, but I can't find the answer to this question. A friend has a unit he's about to rent out, and an applicant would like to pay 2 years upfront. (I've already shared that this could be a bad idea, he's doing more research on it.) But after that concern, I started wondering how much upfront rent he can legally collect. Does anyone know this answer?
