Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point) - Path of Progress
Hello fellow BP'ers,
I'm interested in purchasing properties in the Piedmont Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point). As an OOS investor and attempting to get more familiar with the area, I was wondering if fellow BP'ers could please chime in on where you think the path of progress is heading in the Triad area? Where/in which direction do you think the job growth, new development (commercial and residential) and population increase will occur in the near term (1-3 yrs) and long term (5-10 yrs)?
Cheers!

@Greg Fitch, @Jason Coleman, @Justin Craver this seems like a good place to bring this up:
In Podcast Episode #350, @Craig Curelop mentioned that he looks for the "path of progress" - where the downtown area headed in the near future that is going to cause property values to go up.
Are there areas or neighborhoods that you have recognized in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, or High Point where we can see this path of progress moving? Where property values are low today, but could be bringing in premium rents and higher property values tomorrow? Or is there a general cardinal direction that we are seeing it based on where the downtown areas are today?
