Salesperson License Step-by-step help needed

Hey guys,

I'm new to real estate and I was looking to get my salesperson license.  I've read that NY requires a 75 hour class along with a test before taking the state exam.  While looking through some of the forms, the RE Qualifying Course Approval Application stumped me a bit.

I plan on taking the required course online.  On the top of the form it says that the application must be submitted 60 days before the course is to be conducted...but a few lines down it says to attach the final exam and answer key.  How am I supposed to submit this approval application to take the 75 hour exam and get them the answer key 60 days before the course?  Am I interpreting it wrong?  For all I know I could be looking at the incorrect form all together.  I would love to hear from anybody who has been through the license process in NY state & can help me proceed.

Thanks,

Dave
