Q2 2015 Market Report: Manhattan Rents and Sales Prices Hit Record High

I recently looked at condos in NYC and the vast majority had carrying costs of almost twice the rental rates. Also, a number that actually sold had renters that were paying $1K a month less than the carrying cost.  Still think certain pockets are interesting but just crazy watching what is going on.

Record setting rent increases and record setting price increases and people want to call those investors fools?  And you want to excuse your inability to participate in one of the most profitable real estate markets in the world by trying to impose some questionable flyover "fundamentals" on Manhattan.
