Garage rentals in South Jersey?

Hi all,

I'm about to go under contract on my first property (hopefully...there have been some hiccups) in Gloucester City. It's a duplex that I will be house hacking. Both the listing agent and my agent have said that I can rent out the garage (single car detached) for anywhere around 100-200 per month. I tried looking on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. to see what's out there but I haven't found any garage rentals in the area. I'm curious to see if anyone else has done this and can share their experience or can shed some light on the topic. If I can do this it can significantly make this a way better deal and would be the icing on top!

@Kevin Zolea rental garages can be a good value add, I've had clients rent out garages with success just make sure that the structure is sound and that you can prevent their property from being damaged by rain, rodents etc. My advice would be to run an ad on craigslist and locally, see if there is any interest, anyone who reaches out is now a rental lead, if no one is interested then garages might not be a viable income source for you.
