Choosing the right REI groups

Hey guys I am new to Real Estate and i want to start attending REI group meetings in the area i am interested in investing in. How do i know which meetings to attend and which are just trying to get people to buy their products?

Hey Ronny,

Welcome to REI and to BP! You're making the right moves to achieve financial freedom. There are some Meet Ups in north Jersey that would be a bridge or tunnel trip for you. I have some friends who live in NYC/Bronx that go to some meet ups there. I'm in Central NJ so our REIA is called SJREIA (South Jersey). We do have some closer to you in N. Brunswick and Princeton if you'd ever like to make the trip. Definitely worth it! Take a look at the calendar of events at https://www.sjreia.org/Calendar.aspx

You'll want to look at the Princeton subgroup which happens every third Thursday of the month and the Middlesex subgroup which happens every last Wednesday of the month. There's also a rehab subgroup you want to look into as well.
