Appraising Rehabs in NH

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows what appraisers focus on when appraising a 2-4 unit home here in NH. What renovations would give me the most bang for my buck? Adding square footage? Fixing up the kitchen?

Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance and seize the day!

@Jesse Cote For under 5 units, they’ll be looking at comps. Track the improvements and make sure you push them on the appraiser. Kitchen and baths.
