Landlord/Tenent Laws in NH

I am interested in the New Hampshire market for multi-family investing. Overall, are the laws landlord or more tenant friendly? Are there certain locales that are better for being a landlord from a legal perspective?

My lawyer taught me a trick in NH.  Full disclosure:  I am not an attorney.  I pay attorneys.  I don't pretend to be one.  Do not take this as legal advice, ASK YOUR OWN NH ATTORNEY.  

But in my last eviction, which was quite some time ago, when we were at court, my attorney negotiated an agreement with the tenant that they could stay an extra 2 weeks for $300.  I was furious at first. He then stood up in front of the judge, and said:  Your honor, we have negotiated an agreement.  The judge asked the tenant if this was correct, and the tenant agreed.  The agreement was put in writing at the courthouse with the clerk.  I got $300 on the spot.   And lo and behold, by signing the agreement, it takes away the tenant's ability to appeal. (This was years ago, so check to see if that's still the case.) That means when they weren't out in 2 weeks, I could go directly to the Writ of Possession.  They were out lickety split.

Never underestimate the value of a good attorney.
