Hello, Minneapolis/Minnesota/Folks reading this thread. My name is Andrew and I just started the journey of house hacking this month through buying an off market triplex in south Minneapolis near Lake Nokomis. I am moving in Sunday and demo starts right away. I would love to hear from any other folks in the area to see where you are all at. How many units? Areas to invest? GCs? SFH Multifamily? Appreciation vs. Cash Flow? REA? Buying campaigns? so on and so forth, also if any of yall know of some REI meetings to attend. I work downtown at Ameriprise let me know if you want to get lunch. God Bless

@George Springer good to know I'll keep you in mind, my REA is an investor himself so his ear is always to the ground on deals.  There was a triplex that was overpriced and didn't sell so it was taken off the market, one of his colleagues stayed in touch with the owner and knew they were going to relish in May. I got in before that and got us a deal.  We used Eric Eickhof of Fulton realty, knows his stuff big time.  Advice: make sure your REA is an investor. Thanks for reaching out
