Looking for a multi-family inspector

Hi BP,

A partner and I are in the process of offering on our first small, multi-family property. It is a large residential home that was converted into four separately metered apartments. There have been several modifications with decks, walls, and other structural items to create separate entrances.

I've used different home inspectors for standard residential, single-family homes before and have been through the standard process a few times.

I'm looking for a home inspector who has experience with this unique, niche type of property. I have my eye on several properties like this in southern Oakland and Macomb County.

Any recommendations for home inspectors with this type of experience?

Thanks so much for any and all advice. Happy investing!

Christian
