New member from Dartmouth, MA

Hey everyone. My name is Alex Urbanek and I am a new-ish member to BP. Im from Dartmouth, MA and I've been living here my whole life. I'm interested in multi-family properties (3 or 4 unit) in New Bedford and Fall River and I plan on house hacking my first property. I started my REI dream several years ago but put it on hold until I graduated and got a good job. Now I'm trying to gather as much information as possible on REI. The BP books are great reads. I'm now looking to take it a step further.

1. I want to start going to REI or LL meetings. If anyone has information on where and when these take place I would appreciate it.

2. I'm also seeking recommendations for real estate agents that work well with our type of investing.

Hey Alex I go to a couple meetups local to the area consistently.  Two of my favorites take place in Fall River MA and another in Warwick RI.  If you’re interested please reach out and I will send you the details.

I just purchased my first househack in New Bedford a few months ago.  It has been a great learning experience and I’d be glad to share some tips and answer any questions that you may have.
