How to approach other investors

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to approach other investors in my area? I am really wanting to get into real estate, but my main issue is experience. I am on BP everyday listening to podcast, and searching through the forums soaking up all of the information that I can. I am wanting to help other investors in any way that I can, in order to learn from them. I understand that I need them more than they need me, and I want to benefit them as well. Time is money in this industry, and I don't want to waste anyone's time. Any advice on the right and wrong way to approach this situation is very appreciated.
